I survived my first Earthquake!!

Last night, circa 3ish am, I was literally shaken awake. Car alarms went off, stuff fell from the table around me, and my bed shook. EARTHQUAKE! Fortunately, it did not hit Rome with as much impact as it did Abruzzo. The entire ordeal was a 6.5 magnitude quake which decimated the small mountain town. Presently, more than 90 people have died and over a thousand were left homeless.

Meanwhile, Abruzzo is art historically a very important place. Apparently others have had the same thoughts. Found this on the New York Times.
